A wind mitigation inspection is a report completed by Central Florida Building Inspectors that may help homeowners qualify for an insurance premium discount. These discounts are given to homeowners who have wind-resistance features on their property. These features decrease the amount of damage that may occur during a hurricane or heavy windstorm. This translates into less risk for the insurance company which means savings passed on to the homeowner.
Focuses on only four significant areas of a home — the roof, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system. As a result, the inspection isn’t a complete home inspection but a smaller, more targeted one that insurance companies typically require, especially for homes over 20 years old.
Drone inspections:
When possible and helpful we will use a drone to video/photo your roof, chimney or other areas that may be otherwise unable to be inspected.
Radon Inspection:
The EPA recommends that all houses, regardless of what radon zone the house is located in, be tested for radon during point of sale

Air Quality/Mold:
Air samples can be used to gather data about mold spores present in the interior of a house. These samples are taken by using a pump that forces air through a collection device which catches mold spores. The sample is then sent off to a laboratory to be analyzed.

The EPA recommends that all houses, regardless of what radon zone the house is located in, be tested for radon during point of sale
Thermal Imaging,:
A cutting-edge technology that transcends the limitations of the naked eye, allowing inspectors to detect issues otherwise invisible. By capturing variations in temperature, thermal imaging can reveal discrepancies in insulation, hidden water leaks, air leaks, or even electrical hot spots.
